The door to success and improvement is open! We work to form and to promote cooperation with institutions in countries all around the world. Students and lecturers are always welcome to come to Daugavpils University and spend enriching and beautiful time here. If You want to do research and spend a part of Your studies abroad getting extra experience, then You should surely visit us! We will look through all the possibilities and come forward with the most suitable proposition for You. The aim of Daugavpils University International and Public Relations Office (IPRO) is to develop and foster international cooperation with higher education establishments and institutions all over the world. IPRO participate in work out and realization of various international projects. DU has received Extended Erasmus University Charter, which gives an opportunity for university staff and students to spend some time abroad and do some research or study. This helps to gain new knowledge, acquaint with other cultures and get significant experience. In the framework of Erasmus programme DU has concluded agreements with more than 40 universities in more than 18 countries and the number is still growing. The partner universities are in the United Kingdom, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Finland, Switzerland, Turkey, Hungary, Germany and Sweden. DU is proud of Else Marie Tschermaks' Fund, which give financial aid only to students and staff of DU for studies, research work and further education in Europe.
